Data Protection Officer

Kellie is extremely passionate about data protection and has worked in this field since 2002.  She has worked in the NHS, the Civil Service, the private sector, and third-sector organisations, supporting them with data management and data protection compliance.  

Kellie loves working with individuals and organisations to help them fully exploit their customer/client data. Handling personal data is a privilege, not a right, and she could talk about it for hours. She enjoys conducting practical and engaging training sessions, writing policies which are relevant to the business, and presenting the data protection risks and mitigations relevant to it.
 
Kellie believe in keeping things simple and taking a practical approach to solving data protection problems or challenges. If things get too complex, engagement can be lost. Data protection should not be seen or used as a barrier; it can help build trust between the organisation and its customers/clients if implemented correctly.
